No, not hits this fast. Tonight, my team, the Chicago Cubs defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-6 in 10 innings, thus marking win number 10,000 in club history.
Thats right folks, the Chicago Cubs are only the 2nd team in the history of major league baseball to win 10,00 games, following the NY/SF Giants.
Side note-last year, the Philadelphia Phillies became the first team to lose 10,000 games.
And for those of you keeping track, the "Lovable Losers" have never had a losing record, at least as an overall franchise. If you go back over the entire team history, their cumulative record has always been above .500.

Red-We can carpool. To hell with Wil. He can sit in his truck and reveal in his comeupins.
He really needs to adjust his attitude. It seems like recently he has become more of cynic and very negative.
